Due to the Coronavirus, the surgery will be offering telephone triage appointments, where you will be assessed by a clinician and given advice or a face to face consultation if required. If you have respiratory (breathing) symptoms, this will be at Weston Street surgery.
If you are suffering from any of the following Coronavirus symptoms:
- a new continuous cough
- a high temperature
- a change in your normal sense of taste/smell
Stay away from other people for at least the next 7 days, or until your symptoms have gone.
Stay at least two metres (three steps) away from people
DO NOT go to a GP, Pharmacy or hospital
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
Please visit the NHS 111 online service for further advice - do not phone 111 unless you are unable to cope with the symptoms at home in order to ease the burden on our NHS.
If you are advised to attend surgery if possible attend alone
Do not attend early for your appointment and wait in the car if possible until the time of your appointment.
